Anima Christi Prayer Card

The Anima Christi (“Soul of Christ”) is a beloved prayer that draws us deeply into the mystery of Jesus’ Passion. Dating back to at least the early 14th century and later popularized by St. Ignatius of Loyola in his Spiritual Exercises, it has long been cherished in the Church’s devotional life. It is traditionally prayed after receiving the Eucharist or while in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament during Eucharistic Adoration.
